NOTES - 2005-04-25 For the 0.6.11 and 0.6.12-alpha-2992 versions: Apply the -01-warn.diff patch first. This provides the display first warning and then just a counter of the warnings generated, unless -w is specified, which then causes all warnings to be output like before. Then if you have been experiencing video-pts issues which cause your playback to stutter, apply the -02-video-pts.diff patch. This patch is optional and should really be looked at by Scott to determine if it is valid. Martin Crossley provided it as he said it fixed the regression he has been experiencing. Then apply the -03-ivtv.diff patch to actually provide the NAV packet generation code. There have been some minor cleanups thanks to Martin Crossley that seems to have improved the generated output. The video resolution, etc. are still not being detected properly, but that can be overwritten by specifying the values in the xml config file. Ultimately, it needs to come down to someone who has a better knowledge of mpeg2 NAV packets to be able to make the correct data available or train dvdauthor on how to correctly find it when we have just added a NAV packet to the file.
